I can't stand the way my fiance and other guys flip channels and have to stop if they see some girl lying in a sexual position with her breasts hanging out and her *** in the air. Never thought I'd married someone like that, but I really feel like I have no choice. Do any of you agree with my point of view, that if a guy is in a serious relationship, he shouldn't need to get turned on by that crap on tv?

I do often. As a guy I am pissed off with the kind of crap tv puts in women's heads b/c it makes it more difficult to find a self assured, interesting woman. I also think that guys get turned on by it b/c they are taught to be turned on by it. In other words, just as women are taught to act like that for attention, men are taught to reward that sort of behavior. Sexy behavior is fine but it starts in the brain, not in the bust.

I don't know how bad these commercials "portray" women, I mean, they willingly went on camera, they signed the waivers allowing them to use the footage. What they show is what happened, nothing more or less. Sure, they will use quick cuts to make the videos seem more interesting than they really are, but they aren't showing anything that didn't happen. As far as what your fiance does, that's just a natural guy response, and you shouldn't judge him based on that. Besides, I've seen plenty of women go nuts over those "Guys Gone Wild" videos.

If a guy is happily married, or in another close relationship with a woman, I don't get why they want to watch women on tv.
And I wouldn't want any of those women on tv anyway. I prefer the more plain, smart ones. The flashy ones that are concidered "sexy" generaly aren't good for relationships. They cost too much to keep around, since every other guy wants them. Which is sad.
So, in short, yes, I agree with you!

I think its sad and pathetic that women feel they have to act that way to get what they want. Its not how they portray them, the sad fact is that is how many have become today. It used to be you always heard "it's hard to find a good man" now it has turned to the other side because it truly is hard to find and keep a good woman in this day and age.

No man needs to get turned on by that. But some don't pass up a chance to oogle when they can. Just as some women don't pass up a chance to oogle when they can.
These women are proud to be on these videos, they're not being exploited. What's the problem?

Kate, it is not right for your man to throw stuff like that in your face, but sure most men are going to take a peek. There is a difference between a man looking at something because it is there and actually becoming turned on by it. If you are there for your man and are willing to fulfill his needs you have every right to be upset with him...

sure, sure it does, with the aid of fact there are not this variety of movies out for adult adult males that i'm conscious of referred to as Boys long previous Wild, or something like that. Your head is in the clouds sweetheart. 90% of men are turned on by anything naked and pretty. Sorry! You have to accept that there ARE hotter women in the world than you. (I've accepted it..hard to, but get over it!)
Men are going to look at T and A and you just have to accept that as being normal. Why in the world do you think God made women so beautiful? NOt for our own good, no so that we attract a mate to make babies with. And since SEX is really the only way to make babies, men will get excited over seeing something sexy. (it works even in the animal kingdom)
I am female, so I'm sorry for answering your question, but you are just being dumb and wanting to feminize your man. Which is wrong and hurts him more than you think. I can almost bet that you take a second glance at a man who looks hotter than your man, don't you? But I can also bet that when you do that, and your man gets on you about it, all hell will break loose, and he is being an a sshole, a pig, jealous ect...

Guys are dogs about some things. Your fiance should know better than to act that way in your presence. This is when the partners are supposed to be on their best behavior, so don't expect it to get better.
