I've read Interview w/ the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned, and theTale of the Body Thief. What should I read next???

Chronological order... DUH! And yes, I did see the "Interview" movie. I'm looking for a real answer, not point-grubbing pseudo-commentary, please... I mean, should I read Armand next, or Memnoch, or Blood and Gold-- those three don't seem to fit into any chronology compared tothe first four...

After "Tale of the Body Thief" comes "Memnoch the Devil". Following that (chronologically) is: "Armand", "Merrick", "Blood and Gold", "Blackwood Farm", and "Blood Canticle". There are also two other books, known as "The New Tales of The Vampires". "Pandora" comes between "Memnoch" and "Armand"; and "Vittorio the Vampire" comes between "Armand" and "Merrick". I also recommend that you read The Lives of the Mayfair Witches before you read "Blood Canticle", since that novel is the marriage between both series.

Deffinitely start with "Interview." It's the basic primer to that world. Then "Lestat." After that, it gets more random. I would recomend Armand. Even though in history Armand comes first, followed by Lestat and "Interview," I feel like the author's vision is important. Since she wrote "Interview" first I would read it first. "The Vampire" Lestat deffinitely belongs second. After that it is sort of variable, but I think "Queen of the Damned" belongs last. Have fun reading!

Here's the list: Memnoch the Devil (Anne's favorite!!! You'll notice the fascinating Lestat/Christ connection.), The Vampire Armand, Merrick, Blood and Gold and the latest, Blood Canticle.

Enjoy! You'll love Memnoch. >^..^<

You should read the Vampire Chronicles in chronological order. "Interview By A Vampire" has a movie. It's a really great movie, you should see it.

The next in chronological order. Sorry, but it kind of makes sense.
