Ok im trying to desighn a lord of the rings helms deep fortress does anyone now were i can get pictures,general information, etc etc etc etc. thnku any help would be nice.

actor Christopher Lee (Saruman from the movie) did a number of scetches from which a number of the structures in Peter Jackson's films were modeled after...amongst them the Tower of Orthanc (Isengard). You can see some of his drawings in the bonus material that is included in The Two Towers (extended edition), but I was unable to find any of these online, though you might be more succesful than I. Another source you might find useful would be the book The Lord of the Rings: Weapons and Warfare. It's not much, but there are pictures and diagrams of each of the battles fought in the trilogy, with information on the types of weapons, engines, armor used by each army as well as the tactics used by each. The book's not as popular as it once was and will probably be a little harder to find in bookstores, though you can certainly order it online. The bonus material on the Two Towers dvd should be a big help, though, if you don't mind dumping a few bucks on renting it.

go to www.lordoftherings.com and go to photo galleries from The Two Towers. You should find pictures from the movie set for Helms Deep. I guess you could base it on that. If not, read the chapter in the book.
