so,why doesnt the rest of the world likehomosexuality is it bad.
do they tink that homosexual people simply have a thing against the law- the unwritten natural law that says "you can't do that....."

First of all, what races are u and why the thinking of converting to Islam? It it bcoz ur beau is an Islam? Fyi, Yes! Islam condone homosexuality. Basically, Islam condone things that are not right and bad. Eg, Premarital sex, drinking, cheating, exposing oneself. There is a reason to each and every thing that is being condone by Islam. If u sit down and think abt every outcome/consequences of the things that I mentioned, u'll know what I mean. And 1 more thing, do not convert just bcoz of someone u love. Convert bcoz u love the religion and sincere to know and embrace it for the rest of ur life.

The condone it all the way to the chopping block.
Islam has a double standard for homosexuality. It "condones" it with the old "it takes 6 witnesses" but then if your unpopular, suddenly the witnesses appear even without seeing anything. However, otherwise, you can bump nasties all nite long and boys won't talk. Its like a bad Frat movie. I guess a Alpha Camel Pie Fraternity.
Just doesn't sound so fun. But yeah, they tolerate it as long as you do it in secret. Just don't be "out" like we can here in the states.

this question is probably better asked at a religious site, not a LGBT site..
personally, i think that if you are a homosexual, yet agree with some or all of the islamic values, then go ahead and adopt those values as your own..
if the islam community doesn't accept you, then don't put their label on your forehead.. but still live your life under the values for which you believe..
never be afraid to be yourself and never let others tell you how you are "supposed" to be..

Islam condemns homosexuality.
However - you should ask why you want to convert to Islam, before you know the fundamentals of the religion....
Why not do some research first... I would suggest you talk to a teacher at your local mosque, who would be able to answer your questions or at the very least provide you with literature to study.
