Hispanics aren't doing anything that our American ancestors haven't done.

Hardly.
The Mexicans who are coming to the United States are poor. They are adding themselves to the working class. They will not have the economic power that people of other nationalities/ethnic backgrounds will have. At least not for a long time.

I think it's so sad that people feel that there is some sort of cultural threat from Mexico.

How can one take over an area they are indigenous to? Many people from Mexico have ancestors who have been on this side of the world since people have been here. I live in San Antonio, TX and the majority of the population there are people who came or who have ancestors who came from Mexico. Our city is a beautiful place. Hence, if that is a true fact, it is not necessarily a bad thing.

No! Mexicans are not taking over the US. They are looking for a more prosperous life. But it is a shame that the more Mexicans don't look to improve their way of life in Mexico vs getting into the US by any means necessary.

Define "taking over", and re-define "Mexicans".

Hispanics, people from central America, are a very fast growing segment of the population, and in a few years, will be the largest segment of the population following current population growth patterns.

Whether population size determines who's "in control" is another story. Just look at South Africa during apartheid.

there are 30 million mexicans here. Mexico has about 100 million more mexicans down there. So far, they have given us almost a third of their population.
There is no instance in history where one country has invaded another country with such numbers, unless it was called WAR.
But we just let them walk, swim, and climb over here, and if you protest, you're called a racist.
They have not only taken over, they have ensured our complete defeat within a matter of a few decades, within the lifetime of most people living today.

Well Latinos will have accounted for half our population growth between 1998 and 2010. If you include through the year 2050 - they will account for 62% of US population growth between now and then. And by 2050 only half of the US population will be comprised of non-hispanic whites.

But none of that bothers me and I'm white. I just keep working on my Spanish. I think it's funny that white folks get all upset about the hispanic invasion. It is ironic given that the American Indians were powerless to stop the influx of white men. And today white men are powerless to stem the tide of hispanics. Cosmic justice.

yes...they have kids, white people don`t ..i am white; got 3 kids at 31 years old and when i walk thru the mall people look at us like they`re sorry for us. White people are concern about dogs and cats, trying to save the planet and its resources while mexicans, blacks, russians, romanians make kids..works out pretty well....

If the Mexicans take over the US, do you think they could do a worse job at running it than Bush? I doubt it. That kind of *******-up requires organization and strategery.

They're not taking over. They just want to have a better life for themselves and their families.

No. They're just coming to a land of opportunity. Not "taking over".
