higher. oakland, ca. i heard there were more americans killed in oakland than in iraq last year. most of the time murder doesn't even make the news here. it's mainly gang violence, so a lot of the ppl are teenagers.

i typo all the time! now to answer you rquestion, The inner city of Nashville has a above average crime rate, but if you go to the outer city i would say teh equal or same amount of crime. Go a little further out to still Nashville but getting towards teh burbs and it dramatically drops! I know in like one city it is weird to hav eit be soooo different but it just is!

466 murders in Chicago this year. Up from last year. 3,000 soldiers have died over 3 years. That is around 1,000 per year in Iraq. Over the past 3 years there has been approximately 1500 murders in Chicago.
So 2 Chicagos equals 1 Iraq.
Most of these are gun crimes from gangs. Interesting that guns are illegal in Chicago.

In San Angelo TX there isn't a lot, but what does happen youll never hear about. The media and city likes to hide everything.

Feel ya. Here in Little Rock, we had more homicides in the first three months of 2006 than all of 2005. it hasn't slowed yet.....
A lot of these killings seem random, no apparent motive. Be safe!!

Orlando, Fl.............crime has skyrocketed. There were 3 murders overnight Jan 1st. Last year it was around 70. The last few months it seemed like every morning there was a new murder. Guns these days are way too common.......
