I have a feeling that some of my home game players are dealing themselves good hands or my house is on an Indian Burial Ground. Someone got KK five times lat week and doubled up on each when someone had a lower pair.
That is just one of many. I want to know are there any sleight of hand moves to look for? Also I think that some play on teams. Are there any ways to spot these people?

Cut the cards and make sure the halves are switched. That one act eliminates most of the hanky panky, such as.putting good cards at the bottom of the deck during the shuffle.

Now, if you suspect collusion, that's a tough one. However, having a player tell you what two cards he has by some signal doesn't really help your odds much.

I'm inclined to think the player who got a lot of good hands was just having a good night. Luck is fickle.

Remove the object of their manipulation from their hands.

Have the deck on the table, preferably in something that is pre-shuffled and self contained.

You can get a 'card-box' that the cards are loaded into and you can only draw one card at a time out of.

Start watching for signs of how they play...and watch movies like the maverick...where it explains the kinds of signs to look for
