that's usually when my bell goes off.... either the person is trying to hard for you to believe them or they lie all the time and are trying to be honest for once in their life

i use that phrase when i tell client's how to save money by not listening to my bosses.
"To be honest, what they're telling you won't really help you out, it'll just cost you more."
