In the past couple years I've been to MLB games at U.S. Cellular, Miller Park, PNC Park, Safeco Field, Dodger Stadium, Petco Park, and Spring Training games at Phoenix Municipal Stadium, Tucson Electric Park, and Hi Corbett Field, all to best knowledge serve the so-called "nuclear" cheese. At home or in restaurants I do enjoy shredded "real" cheese on my nachos however I believe that the processed cheese food at ballparks works under the circumstances. It melts more easily when heated, since it is in a semi-liquid state to begin with, and then stays melted and warm much longer than shredded cheese. It's all give and take to me.

The nuclear cheese as you put it, is the best for ball park nachos. Goes very well with beer

Nachos at any venue are not nachos without the cheese based food product we all know and love as the Whiz...I love nachos at Oriole Park at Camden Yard in Baltimore. They give you two cups of cheese, two cups of salsa or one of each. Then they will throw all of the jalapenos you want on top.

not necessarily I've been to some parks where they have an ultimate nacho platter that still comes with the shredded cheese plus everything else.
