i think IMing becuase it is alot quicker then sending emails..
but emails are good for long letters if you are not willing to sit on the comp the whoel time and actually IM
i find both very useful

I think im-ing is amazing, but I'm slow at typing so emailing suits me better. They both are great!

I think IMing is better, because it is faster and there are more features involved. IMing has webcam features, and video call, which are both that emailing does not have. Both are useful; it depends on where the writer and receiver are and what is being sent.

im-ing cos its sort of 2-way comversation.
emailing, if i rather type short essay rather than im-ing with that particular person.
