yah... smtms sleeping in a different place like the couch helps u sleep better.. and the couch is great especially if ur single.. helps u feel less lonely. (not saying you feel lonely., but if u did, couch takes some of that feeling away i think)

I am married I want to sleep on the couch. My hubby and I bother each other while we are trying to sleep. So the couch is good. Plus I have grown so accustomed to the TV that I am lost not reading the closed captions before I go to sleep. I have thevolume off so I won't bother anyone sleeping. No forcing here. Now if there was closed caption on the TV in the bedroom I'd probably be in the bedroom.

My bed is so much more comfortable, so I don't just choose to sleep on my couch. I'd rather sleep alone in bed than on the couch. If I'm visiting someone, I don't mind a couch.I'm not much on TV. (Maybe I need a new couch? :)

Two reasons for voluntarily sleeping on couch
#1 -- TV is in the den, never the bedroom (oh, and sleep is usually
involuntary, induced by the soporific vacuum tube, a sure fire sleep aid that works better than any sleeping pill for me.)
#2 -- we (my love and I) collapse there-upon, and not from watching TV!!!
