WHOAH! Ignore all of the people that said "ask him." Big mistake! If you ask him, he won't like you! I mean it may be a huge insult to him if you tell him you thought he was gay! I reckon you should go for what you said... show off your body to him a bit. Get close. You'll soon find out!
Also, great English! If you didn't say "I'm an Argentinian" at the start, I'd never have guessed! Only thing that slightly gives it away is "jaja" - kind of confusing to English speaking people! Only other thing is the sentence:
"I like a man who I don't know if he's gay or not"
I can't really think of a way for this to work gramatically unless you split it up with a comma:
"I like a man, but I don't know if he's gay or not".

Why would you let him being gay effect whether you like him or not? Gay men can be much more caring and compassionate than the straight ones!
Besides that, one of the ways that straight men put down men that they envy is to call them gay, so there is always the chance that this is the reason you hear this.
If you like him, then let him know it! Hang out with him and be his friend. If he isn't interested, he will probably let you know, and if he is, then maybe you'll give all those other guys even more reason to envy him.

Take him to the bar, get him drunk then ask him if he’s gay or not or/and make a move on him. People are usually a lot more honest under the influence…

Alright, I do not think you should "show off" whatever asset you have just to find out if he is gay or not. Just talk to him in a nice way and make sure that he is no offended.
