Frequently - there is no better place

2007-01-03 16:52:53 · answer #1 · answered by Norman 7 · 1 1

No, I think that the mind and reality are too interdependent. Everything I get in my mind is somehow taken from or connected to reality, and I can only ignore reality for a tiny portion of time by focusing only on my thoughts. There's no big conflict between the two and I rarely have a need for a dramatic escape from reality. Meditation can serve as a way to "escape" from my thoughts by focusing only on reality... that's something people rarely do with skill. : )

Trust me,I bet there is no one on here that crawls inside their own minds as much as I do! I'm always trying to escape reality by crawling inside my mind!

yeah.sometimes i just have to.

many times reality gets like a pressure over me.
the best place to escape from that is my own mind.
its my own world of dreams and thoughts
.
no place of reality there in my mind
.
and when i feel like i don't need reality now,i crawl in my mind full of dreams where there is no reality.

And I'm looking for space
And to find out who I am
And I'm looking to know and understand
It's a sweet, sweet dream
Sometimes I'm almost there
Sometimes I fly like an eagle
And sometimes I'm deep in despair

All alone in the universe,
sometimes that's how it seems
I get lost in the sadness and the screams
Then I look in the center,
suddenly everything's clear
I find myself in the sunshine and my dreams

No, I try to not think too much. It seems to get me in trouble. I listen to music to escape.

I think most everyone does, some call it day dreaming, when your older they call senility, I try to see how long I can stray in, the world outside sucks.
