The Nancy Drew books are still under copyright and I don't believe they've been released as ebooks. You might be able to pick up paper copies at garage sales and rummage sales, but there should be no free ebooks. Still copyrighted.

Look up a FreeCycle group in your area and post an ad once you become a member. You never know what's lurking in someone's junk pile or giveaway pile. I belong to a couple groups in my area and county and have gotten dozens of items for free. The best one to date was a dresser that I refinished.
