everyones an individual no one says you have to fit in. Music is a way of expressing yourself, what you like how you feel about things. The concept of music is to not fit in with people your age by liking the same stuff as you but to enjoy your music choices and express your individuality. Plus there stil would be people who like that kind of music even for your age. Don't worry about trying to be even being odd is fun it means you stand out :) everyone stands out when they follow their own conscious and thats awesome. Plus many people like different kinds of music towards one another so everyones odd because no one is born the same. Try fan pages of your favorite artist on websites, join a music club as you get to know people they will have similarities to you whether its music, art, sport, logic skills, mathematics.Enjoy what you love its there for a reason :) i don't like a certain genre I love music but I am open to different types f music categories rap, pop, rock, RNB, country etc; except I don't really like heavy metal screamo thats it except Evanescences music is awesome. I like a lot of current songs early 2000's, 1980 music, love Grease which was adapted in the 70s and a few 50 songs. There you go everyone stands out but I do have a certain friend she likes a few of the music you like she is fifteen I think its Metallica and maybe some others. I am not considered a fan of alot of artist only Paramore, Evanescence and Eminem I am a fan of those 3 other than that I just like alot of other songs. I am more of a fan of music. Beauty of music is its your own identidy your taste of music and thoughts and passion is what makes you, you and being odd. Because in the end everyones different no one is the same were all individuals. Enjoy stuff you like and don't feel that you need to fit in because you will always be trying to impress people and will not enjoy life you need to serve yourself. Others will actually likely be your friend, accept you for your actual self and appreciate you more if you like your own things. I know what you mean but life isn't about fitting in its about serving for yourself If you want to know other people who share your general interest though try music clubs or look at fan pages of the artist you like or official websites of your artist and band. And video gaming is fun depending on what it is :)
