Cycling with live rock?

I've been cycling about 5 days now and my cured live rock is turning a dusty white color in many places. Is that a normal part of the cycle, or should I be concerned?

I actually think it is normal. If it is bubbly like soap it is the protein. See a local saltwater fish store though and ask. Not a petsmart or petco, a store that knows what they are doing and see live rock :)

I don't think this is normal,probably should check with the supplier. PeeTee
