I met Bret Hart at my hometown of Indianapolis when he was signing autographs two days before Wrestlemania 8 (which is one of two pay per views I have been to). He signed my Bret Hart shades and I had my picture taken with him, I was 9 and he was a really nice guy and answered all mine and my Dad's questions. It is one of my favorite moments out of many in my life and even furthered him as my favorite wrestler of all time. I also met Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho after a Raw taping in Chicago and got both there autographs. Both were nice as well and answered all of my questions, even the ones about there time in Japan and WCW.

Yeah, I met Kane, and Bret "The Hitman" Hart at RVD's 5 Star Comic shop about two years ago.
Kane is a really nice guy. So was Bret. Just before I left after seeing Bret, I saw RVD.

About 10 years ago my brother was working as a bartender. He called me at home and told me he thinks this big guy who just walked in the bar was a wrestler. I went to the bar and it was the Undertaker. I went over and introduced myself. I asked if I could sit down he said yes. I bought him a drink. We talked for an hour. He is really a nice guy.

I met King Kong Bundy at an Eddie Gilbert memorial show in Philly a couple of years ago, and he was a really cool down to earth guy. At the end of the event he walked with my friends and I out to the parking lot and talked with us the whole time.
I also met Dawn Marie a couple of times at Maryland Championship Wrestling, and she is gorgeous in real life and is a really nice person.

Hey ya’ll, this is SO weird. How come everyone seems to meet wrestlers at a Wal-mart? Read some of the responses and you’ll see what I mean.
As for myself, I’ve met WWF “Hall-of-Famers” Jimmy “Boogie-Woogie Man” Valiant AND Ivan “The Russian Bear” Koloff…at WAL-MART! They were signing pictures and stuff for local charities.
Jimmy was trippy to talk to…but real cool. You knew this guy had lived an eventful life, if you get my drift. He has many tattoos. Even on the tops of his toes! He’s got a Wrestling school here in Virginia now.
Ivan blew me away. This guy was SUPER nice and VERY intelligent. Even after all those chair shots, chain beatings, and shovels to the head, he was a pleasant, mellow guy to talk to.
He said he had pain issues from his wrestling days, but couldn’t even begin to imagine the pain other vets like Ric Flair had to deal with. His forehead was deeply scarred, from those afore mentioned actions.
Even at his age, he was still pretty imposing and had one hell of a handshake. I told him that he was one of the greatest “heels” I had ever seen, and that as a child I hated him. He took that as a compliment, because that was what his character was supposed to be.
He signed 2 pictures for me, one for me and one for my best friend, and it felt good to know I was helping a charity and meeting one of my childhood "heroes/ villains". He even gave me a hug, what a humble guy.
He is currently writing a book called “Is That Wrestling Fake? The Bare Facts” which is scheduled for an October release.
He is also a Born Again Christian, and had a book for sale that he had participated in, along with wrestling royalty Nikita Koloff, Steve “Sting” Borden, Ted Dibiase, and HBK.
If you’re interested, the book is “Wrestling With God” by Chad Bonham, 2001, ISBN 1-58919-935-9. It’s a cool read, even if you’re not Christian…but haven’t we all been saying our prayers and taking our vitamins like the Hulkster told us to?
Check out his web-site at: http://www.ivankoloff.com/
I am in NO way affiliated with Ivan, just thought you all might enjoy it.
