Nothing induces the labor except your doctor. Walking only helps after the labor begins. Pineapple does nothing except taste good and hot baths are dangerous for the baby. Just relax the baby will come when it is ready and not until. unless the doctor induces you.

You didn't say how far along- so no I can not give my recommendations. People often rush the birth of a baby. Let the baby get done growing and getting big. That is the gift your body gives to your child.
Yes, regnancy can be uncomfortable- but at the worst of it- delivery is within a few days. If you are any earlier then that your whining from the hormones and need to step back and think what is best for baby.

You should not try to induce labor. It can be very dangerous. That and your baby Will pick it's own birthday. There are special enzymes that the baby receives only on the last few day before labor. Do not deprive them of that. Good luck with your new baby!

There is nothing you can really do to induce naturally early...and really you don't want to..every day your baby is inside is a day his lungs can develop and grow stronger.. my 3rd baby was two weeks over due and I did a red raspberry enema...two days later she was born...if your over due it means either your baby was conceived later than you thought or it is just not ready to be born, I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and am in no hurry to have a screaming, pooping infant to take care of... even tho I can't walk faster then a snail because the baby's head is so far down I am happy for these last few weeks of infant freedom...it all comes to soon and passes to quickly..take a breath and enjoy being pregnant for now.

Play with your nipples a lot. I'm serious. Nipple stimulation releases oxytocin...which is the natural form of Pitocin. Pitocin is the drug they give you to induce labor.
Also, when you have sex, make sure he ejaculates right on your cervix. Semen contains prostglandins..which can ripen the cervix.
Nothing will "work" until your baby is ready to come out...but a little coaxing doesn't hurt...so long as you are full-term.

I agree, walking, squatting, sexual stimulation and yes, even sex! Nipple stimulation is a great one so if you have a willing partner or a breast pump, get to it! Just don't sit down and wait, get up, clean the house and go for a walk. Make sure your partner is next to you because you don't want to go into labor a mile away from home!

my last meal before each of my labors(i've had 3 children) just happen to be a burger and fries at the local burger joint. have your husband rub your feet. try more sex. i had my last one within five hours of having sex and i didnt know i was going into labor when i did it. try and relax and not worry about it and when you least expect it it will happen.

no hot baths- you could hurt the baby. long walks are supposed to work. also playing with or having someone else play with your nipples is supposed to speed things up. if you are over due the hospital can induce you so no need to rush.

lol-only your doctor can induce labor.
& Unless you are in the early stages (or any stage of) labor--there is nothing you can do to 'bring it on'.
the remedies to prompt labor only work if you are already in the labor process.
sorry
(when you do start labor though--nipple stimulation is the number one thing to bring it on, followed by sex & then castor oil)
