1600s or so; age of enlightenment. Great scholars, artists, writers and more. I like the idea of discovering or inventing something.

Used to think it'd be cool to live in a castle, but they're too dag gone cold and I'm sure with everyone in there, the place didn't smell very good.

I sometimes feel like it would have been better if I had lived in another decade, especially the 50's because the personality of that time period seems to match my personality best. But I guess if you hear about a certain time and think about it, you can imagine yourself in it, and if you can see yourself in it, you can almost always see yourself happy with some part of it, if you're honest and looking at the whole picture.

Even though I was almost a pre teen in late 1989,I feel I was born 10 yrs too late.I feel I really would have enjoyed the 80's as a teen.It was such a liberating and selfish time.Materialism, wild parties, drugs, awesome clothes, cool music, and a naive manner that the kids of today don't have. The 80's were such a special time, which could explain the huge comeback it has made in our culture.

Yes. When I was a teenager I thought that I should have been born 150 years earlier. It is because I have a passion for horses. My reasoning was that 150 years ago horses were a part of everyday life. However, I changed my mind when I had a life threatening condition in my 20's. I had to have surgery to save my life. If I had been born 150 years earlier, there would not have been the medical treatment that I needed, and I would have died. Happy New Year.

The Gold Rush Era. Mid 1800s. I don't like the atrocities that were done against the Native Americans but it has always seemed like the most exciting time in history to me. I'd like to travel along the Oregon Trail and head west someday. Since a covered wagon isn't feasible, maybe a Winnebago painted to look like a covered wagon.

Kewl question!! I'm looking forward to reading what others say.

I used to think that I lived in Regency England after the war with Napoleon (say an adult around 1820)

Of course, I was fabulously wealthy, had gowns, servants and went to balls every night.

I think my imagination was fired by my mothers romance novels, where the duke come and seduced the innocent girl (me!) But more than anything, I liked the thought of those decadent parties!

No, but my sister does. She thinks she's really from the 1950's reincarnated because she thinks it's a woman's place to stay in the house, cook, clean, and have a warm dinner on the table for her working husband.
