A good question to ask, since countries often try and stamp out piracy by giving technologies different "regions". All CDs are the same though.
DVDs have different regions :-)

If you are talking about an audio CD then I think it does not matter where the CD came from as the audio CD format is standard across the globe

The 'White Book' standard for audio CDs has one standard for the entire world.
Regional coding was introduced later when the DVD spec was being agreed.
So Audio CDs will play in any country.
