You have to buy 2 games.
The only way to do 1 game is to download a certain hacker program, get a bigger memory card for your PSP, upload that program onto the memory card, then finally download the game onto your PSP.

They need 2 of the same games. They need to be playing it at the same time. If you can only get one and you have a wireless modem, they can play with other people.

for most games you need to have one game catridge, but 2 systems to play versus mode
