Avon is good and inexpensive. You should get an eyeliner smudger so you can blend it and make it look like smudged mascara for a more natural effect. There are eyeliners at the store which have one side eyeliner and the other a smudger, I buy the eyeliner for the smudger.

This seems weird but try it. A white/cream colored eyeliner can have a really nice effect. It really opens the eye and looks natural and pretty. i like a darker color for the top lid and a little between the lower lashes. if you want a more vibrant look, a bluish color looks really nice and fresh.

I agree with Anita. The Kohl pencil is the least hard-looking and doesn't require much smudging, if at all. You want a soft, blended, naturaql look - you want people to notice your eyes, not your liner.

A pencil eyeliner. I use NYC Black. If its too hard... I soften it alittle with a lighter.

eye liners cool and all, but if you want an alternate, black eyeshadow works great and smudges less.
I use TOVA eyeliner. It's smooth and great.
