Avoid them. Like it or not, it's obviously dangerous for them to go clubbing.

Let see NO NO NO.... Why? Because this guy could have very well went to the grocery store and got shot. These people should not have to live there lives hidden away from the public. They are just as human as the next person and well so what they make millions for playing a game. If people are that crazy and mad then they should be the ones shot! Oh and another thing here in ATL you can go to the best buys on any given day and see a celeb from Usher to a Falcons or Braves baseball player so people over rate them and put them on a pedestal well like I said get over it!!!

From what I've heard it isn't his fault, and that there was an argument at the club but he wasn't involved. There's a chance he was shot because someone was upset the Broncos had lost the game.
However, there are a lot incidents at night clubs involving NFL players, but there is also a lot of players who go without a problem. There isn't really too much you can do, just have them take extra precautions.

Well, considering that they're typically young (20s), rich and admired public figures, it makes sense that they'd be very social in their downtime. Also, they're adults so they can do whatever they want as long as they're not breaking any laws.
Also, should actors not go to nightclubs? They seem to have some problems in these clubs too. Not just recently but in the past (River Phoenix) as well. How about musicians (Diddy)?

That you are in a different situation than the average man. You have to be more conscious about the decisions that you make. When you go into the NFL or professional sports you put yourself in the spotlight there for you have to make smarter decisions. And wearing thousands of dollars in clothes and jewelry makes you stand out like a sore-thumb, so when you go to places that scummy people hang out, you put yourself in a very dangerous situation.

Duh~`NO NO NO! Why shouldn't they be allowed to go to clubs? What's the point of having money and fame if you can't enjoy it?
As for shooting, it happens all the time, just publicized as it happened to a famous person.
