because most every one want to see whats its like to be movie star
and with the magazines that report on that most people read

because many people likes to know about the world of celebrities. and those magzines was created a long time probably. i mean, wouldn't you want to always buy movie star magazines? and u would probably tell ur friend and famliy the magazine that u read, wont u? so that's ur answer! ^_^

Many people find that living vicariously through celebrities gives them some sort of connection to the celebrity they are following.
yes, it's ridiculous...but true.
