If you are using onboard sound, go to you motherboard's manufacturer website and see if you can download the latest sound drivers.

If you are using a sound card, go to that manufacturer's website to download the latest drivers.

It could be that something got corrupted when you switched up your drives. If you're using special sound software...change everything back to default and see if that helps.

That means for sure that your hard drive is chipped or scratched or cracked in teh inside. I had the exact problem before. YOu should replace it. Because when you are using a game or music playing file the fiel is kept playing form the hard drive and the cracking or damage inside your hard drive is causing the sound. Making it not run smoothly.

First make sure your speakers are plugged in all the way. Push the plug in all the way. 2nd sheck to see that your sound card is properly installed and that the audio cable is properly connected from you CD to your soundcard if available. Then update the driver if needed. If this fails try another set of speakers.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
