my guy and i had a best friend, and he was insecure, never had a girl, and then he finds one. all they did was fight, and bc they lived 3 hours away at school, we never really knew her. after all of the crap he said about her treatment of him, we find out after 3 months of even just knowing each other, her and her parents talked him into engagement. we dont support it but have let him live his life and backed off, but she was always there not letting him talk to us and even talked him into telling us we were all no longer friends. now she took our numbers (my guy's and mine) and since the new year keeps calling and harassing via text message being a total wench. ignoring has not worked, but it's gotten obsessive, and we sent a message back saying if they didnt stop we'd get the authorities involved. now they started star-67ing so we cant see their number, but we ignore it. it's gotten to almost stalking, what do we do?

You will need to go to the Police for a report and a Judge to get an order to trace your received calls even though they have learned the *67 trick. These people are usually extremely devious and very good at convincing anyone you report this to that it is you that is nuts. Pretend to throw your hands up as though you give up, watch your back and collect everything you can to prosecute this sick twist.
The person stalking me quit just short of the magic mark to prosecute her but even five years later I sometimes she her doing a drive by. I wish I had had a small digital or camera phone to document her when she was extremely active...I love modern technology.
Be Safe!!!

Aside from a baseball bat or a gun maybe a restraining order. Maybe start stalking them. What does this have to do with dating again? Stalkers must turn you on being listed in this section of YA. Call the cops already or invite him in for some casual fun.

You threatened her with the authorities. If it doesn't stop, you may need to follow thru if it's possible to do so. Maybe a lawyer could advise.

As for the relationship between your friend and this girl, you're going to need to leave that totally alone. Maybe your friend will finally have enough of it, and leave her. But, that's his choice. You can only get hurt, and he will get hurt, if you get into the middle of that!

Report it to the phone company. They can track that number and those types of activities even if they *67. Then go to the police if it does not stop.

Since, you already lost your insecure friend to this whack job, and you have no contact with him either. Its time my friend, to change your number. I know its a hassle. Its needed tho in this case. Plus, if you do change your number, give it out to just the people you trust who would not be convinced to give out your number to anyone. Eventually, this chaos you and your man have experienced will get better. GOOD LUCK!!!

a stalker is a stalker, just be ready, i know its bad to sound paranoid and all but its always useful to be ready, get pepper spray, be careful with your mail , change your phone number, if possible change your address, and be careful with your email adress and all that stuff ,, even your garbage can...whatever you do dont reply at her, eventhough it really pisses you off, it would only make the problem worse if you threaten her and all of that answering back, she would just be happier if you would fight back, ignore her and once again ignore her completely

Document it for a while (date & time of calls and text messages). Turn the log over to the police and file a formal complaint. Then change your number.

If that fails, put a hit on her (lol! jk)

Keep detailed records of when she calls. Don't talk to her, just hang up. Call the police. Have her charged with harassment.

Contact the authorities, maybe an officer will scare them off for you. You'll need to tell the officer that you're afraid for your safety and you should be, sounds like this chick is nuts!

IF you contact your phone company they have this thing where they can find a phone number after so many times of it being blocked!
