is it a "drift" or a pull? pull means you fight to keep the vehicle straight. drift is when you let go of the wheel and the car will wander to one direction. most people mistake drift for pull. drift on most roads is normal due to road crown for rain drainage to prevent road flooding. that's why many people have their cars aligned and bring them back for a re-check thinking it is an unresolved pull issue when it really is a drift issue which, believe it or not, is normal. how is your tire wear? inside/outside wear is the indication of an alignment concern. then again, most mechanics don't really know how to align a car anyway. i actually attended a hunter alignment training class which showed me i was doing them wrong for years. just go to a reputable FRONT END SHOP. not an all around repair shop.

If it changes the driection of the pull, this is not an alignment issue. It is an issure in the front end suspention, either a ball joint, wheel bearing, or tir rod end has gone out, there are other parts too but they are common on vehicles with steering boxes and they are starting to get more uncommon. I suggest that if the car wonders on the road left to right, take it back in and have a front end suspention check done.

Well which is it, to the left or to the right?
9 times out of 10 it is not the alignment that causes the pull. If you had loose ball joints or tie rod ends they should not have done the alignment in the first place so we can rule those out.
Most likely the problem is your tires. Rotate them and see if the pull goes away or at least changes. 8 times out of 10 its the tires that cause a pull.

Take it back to the shop that aligned it and tell them it not right.
