We used to be real good friends for a long time. recently though he has been kind of a jerk. It all started after he started having sex with his ex. He began acting lude and he'd talk about it a lot. I moved to another school, and I made friends with a lot of girls, average-looking and attractive. when he met them he started acting normal again... but then started thinking I would hook him up. The last straw was when he took advantage of one my closest friends, who ran from her abusive mom. I let her stay with me because my house was vacant. He knew she had problems so he weaseled his way into her room and messed her up... I was pissed off with him. He started to reconcile a little and stopped womanizing. I have tried to reconnect but I feel it's over.

I almost lost my best friend a couple of days ago. It hurts to forgive someone for mistakes like those. The difference between your case and mine is the fact that your friend hasn't admitted that he has made those mistakes. He has to admit it in order for you to forgive him. If he dosn't do that, then I'm sorry to tell you that he is not a true friend and that even though it's going to be hard, try to forget him. I know how much it hurts, but life is harsh.
Like I said a faced a similar situation recently and that is why i really wish you a lot of luck and i also wish that you have a hard mind that will help you make the right decisions.

I had a best friend once, we met when we were both married and we worked together, after i separated from my husband and she divorced hers she was different, and i didn't care to be around her in mixed company,we went on a singles cruise and it took all my strenght and faith to keep from chocking her to death, she wasn't the same, she had become whorish,a man eater,a cock blocker and very cynical and when we were married she was a great humorous friend i don't think i want her back in my life.

Partner, that friendship is over. Maybe not because of the trubulent issues you and he might have had, just take a closer look what he did to one of your friends. Would you actually want to be associated with jerk like that.

Al... I know its hard to suddenly drop a friend, especially your best-friend. You need to let him go, or until he fesses up to his problems...
