He has never played in a playoff game, and is in a slump now. I feel his struggles will get magnified in the playoffs, everything goes faster and there is much more adrenaline going, it won't be pretty.

Well, he has handled the pressure just fine so far this season, and please tell me just what kind of "slump" a QB can possibly be in who has just led his team to a 14-2 finish ending with 10 straight victories?

The number one responsibility of the QB is to LEAD THE TEAM TO VICTORY! As far as I know, Phillip Rivers is still doing that!

Maybe there will be a letdown under the pressure of the playoffs, maybe not. If I were a SD fan, I would be much more worried about the coach than the QB right about now. "One and Out" Schottenheimer is the biggest problem which I see ahead for the Chargers, NOT Rivers......

( well....... actually, the BIGGEST problem I see for the Chargers down the road, would be the Big Ugly Purple Crows...........)

I disagree. The kid is a big time player. He will shine this month. And if he does slump at all Tomlinson will carry the offense through the tough times

Agreed, add slump to Marty ball & have a recipe for disaster~~ and if LT ends up injured or Meriman gets caught again....

Ohhh don't say that! Be optimistic. I have fallen head over heels in love with this kid (kidding!!!) since him and Brees took me to first place in my league....but then...the slump that you speak of........

Its a crapshoot really......everyone starts out nervous I'm sure...they have to.....but its about time for this slump of his to be OVER and then watch out.........Chargers all the way!!!!

All he has to do is hand the ball to LT. Now if someone figures out how to stop LT, Rivers is in trouble.

He has a bye week to get his stuff straightened out by practicing and watching videos.
