I love to cook. So I want to become a professional chef and open my own resturaunt. How would I go about doing this? And about how much money would I make? How much money would it take to open the resturaunt? I wouldn't want something boring. Probably something more modern and up-beat, with lots of abstract art and that type of thing. Probably located in a city in or near downtown.

Answers are appreciated. Thanks. =)

I have been a server for almost 20 years and I love it.
But do remember that it is very demanding of your time patience and energy. Your co-workers may frustrate you at times, but please understand they are trying just as hard as you are.
A grain of salt and a deep breath will do you good.
Remember that for future reference.
Many good wishes.

that is a tough question to answer. to go on doing the job you love is ideal but not always realistic. here are the first hurdles you need a) experience b) capital c_connections, good luck and list goes on. here is a quick advice -- get your hand and feet wet by working for someone in a restaurant. learn the ropes make someone else pay for your error. when financially and morally ready and if the times are right jump in to the occasion of owning a restaurant. this is not an exhaustive list but it helps. once you are ready see a financial consultant to draw you a map of what to expect depending on your investment. let decor and ambiance and other details be left on the background for the time being. last but not least -- pray and hope good luck is on the way.

First of all, work on your resume and make it an excellent one to get job, which suits your interest. You should take the help of consultant to make an attractive resume. Then You should submit your resume to leading jobsite like www.monster.com, www.careerbuilder.com. Also you should consult local placement consultant in your area. In the meantime, look out for an option to work online. Although it wont pay you like full time job but you can make extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit
