I'm sorry for your loss-- and it IS a loss- it is as traumatic to some as losing a spouse or loved one. It is not fair what is going on in this country, you work hard, try to get ahead, be a good person and slam--- everything is gone in 50 seconds as they slam the door in your face (I've been there). I want to "suggest" to you that you see your family doctor who may refer you to a psychiatrist or he himself may prescribe an antidepressant. You may think this is crap, you don't need it, but the loss of the job you loved is as heartbreaking as losing a loved one--- except you won't acknowledge that, recognize that and realize it until someone talks you through it and helps you deal with your loss. Just like a death, you cannot MOVE ON until you finish mourning what you lost.... please do this...... it isn't easy but once you have that burden off your mind, you may be able to envision another profession that would enjoy doing. God bless you and good luck to you--- it isn't easy and it isn't fair, but unfortunately it is the new "american way".

Develop a business online based on the "film" industry and eventhough it's not film, put up some video blogs and ads promoting a product that you create or even an affiliate product.

You can also set up a website and blog and write interesting articles on film and put some adsense ads and again affiliate links to monitize.

Of course there is lots to learn about online marketing but you hae to start somewhere and if you don't start, then you are still where you are.

You can get some ideas on this site that may help you.

work at a photo lab. Or even a store with photo section. Try looking into photography places and see if they need lab help. Find a company that makes billboard signs. Even the newspapers have photo labs. Magazine places too. Maybe a company like kinko's or office max or some kind of an office supply store that has copy machine services. Advertising needs photo people and lab personell.

check out graphic artist or computer artist at your local college. Iknow that they are looking for people who can make web sites happen, and look nice at the same time.
photography and your background might make this an interseing choice
