IN THE NEWS: Toronto defeats Cleveland, 4-3. Indians manager Mike Hargrove accidentally hands in an incorrect lineup card, forcing Cleveland to forfeit the DH and bat P Charles Nagy in the 7th spot in the batting order. Nagy fails to get a hit in his two at bats

Yeah. Cleveland's Manager handed in the wrong line-up. And if I can remember right, the Indians lost the game by a run. Who wants to bet the DH would have won the game for the Tribe???

Yeah, if the DH comes out to play the field, you lose it. I remember that happened to Roger Clemens once when he was still playing for Boston. He actually got a hit.

It was a rare double switch involving the DH, when that occurs in the AL the pitchers spot occupies the DH in the batting order.

Yeah, I remember that game. Hargrove messed up the line-up card. He never could handle a pitching staff.

They must have used all their bench players and already replaced the DH for a pinch hitter or runner. If you replace the DH, you lose it I think.
