Although I was never the victim of bullying, I couldn't stand when other people were. *Bullies are everywhere.*

The hateful people seemed to be the most popular. Accepting others didn't send you to the gutter, but it didn't send you to the "in" crowd either. *It's still not kindness that gets you ahead in this world.*

The athletes and cheerleaders were adored, not because of what was inside their brains or hearts, but because they were public figures. *Celebrities still exist.*

Kids of faculty and staff and city officials had the school served to them on a silver platter. *It's still who you know.*

What I didn't like about high school is what I don't like about the world. High school was the world on small scale, close and personal. That's why people have problems with it. What I like about the world is those deserving unique people who were shunted aside for the superficially shiny people finally realize they can change things. They can look forward to knowing they're full potential is ahead of them, not locked in the past.

Granted, there are those athletes and cheerleaders who break the mold and are great people as well. And there are those silver-spoon children-of-VIP's who work hard to make their own way. The popular kid who doesn't tease mercilessly. *There are exceptions to every rule.*

I didn't like high school at all because there was nothing but drama. There is nothing that I can do to change what happened when I was in high school. The kids whom I thought were my friends weren't really my friends at all. That was a lesson learned. That is something that I don't want to go back to. I'm in college now and so far it is a really good experience!!

The people who think that being popular is the most important thing. I wish that people wouldn't act in a way that they did the wrong decisions in order to be accpeted.

I enjoyed HS....but I'm glad to be out of it. I love college life right now! As for drama, I tried to stay out of it...I've found that people don't grow up. There is almost more drama now then I had in HS...

Cliques. Some people were so mean to others. I would have stood up for the underdogs more.

Myself and my relationship with God (or lack thereof). I would have handled and seen things a lot differently.
