I dropped a couple of sunflower seeds on the floor. Since the seeds were on the floor for over 5 seconds so I couldn't use the 5 second rule. As a result, the poor seeds ended up in the trash.

gum wrapper.......darn! Should have peeled the aluminum part of it off and sent it to the recycling center. And I could have written my grocery list on one side of the paper part and a letter to my grandma on the other side. What was I thinking!!
But seriously.....you're right. We should be more thoughtful about what we throw and what can be recycled!

A napkin and a butter wrapper. As far as I know, anything with food on it can't be recycled.
