Congratulations to you for wanting to better yourself- do not, and I mean it, DO NOT let your past haunt your future. True, you won't be able to become a lawyer, or can you? I would think not but anyway don't feel bad about your age. First of all, there are SOOOOOOOO many kids in college that are there until they are 26 because they don't take enough credits each year. Secondly, there are a lot of middle aged displaced workers back in college, and third WHO CARES as long as you can make something of yourself and feel good about yourself.

My neighbor was a convicted felon for selling guns (while he was a policeman I might add). He went back to college to become an undertaker (his father had a thriving business he was going to take over). His felony record kept him from becoming this however, he did get his real estate license and sold real estate- ( he was in his 40's when he went back to college)

Any profession where you would have direct access to people's money, you most likely will not be able to get licensed in- but that may vary from state to state----

Good luck to you and Kudos to you for making the transition!

First, you need to sit down and figure out in what you really want to do. If you're ready to do good for yourself, then go for it! Two, who cares about what people are going to think of you...I'm 23 and I'm going back to college this month! And i'm so excited! And three, somethings might be hard because of your felony, but you cant just sit in your room and stare at the wall because of it. Learn from your mistakes and move foward. It all depends on you and how bad you want it!

gaining information of is in no way a waste of time. Sucide is an quite selfish act and that i'm hoping you re-evaluate it out of comprehend to the folk that do love you! there are loads of folk in college who're no longer classic pupils. My dad grew to become into 40 years old whilst he desire back to college. He have been given his degree and earns an quite first rate living. He too felt such as you probably did (approximately being the oldest person in the class) so he took night instructions. the folk there have been older and extra centred and did quite nicely and enjoyed it. Granted once you graduate, you wont be waiting to get particular jobs yet there will be plenty jobs which you're able to do in spite of a legal! have you ever concept approximately getting a activity the place you may help different individuals a activity in counseling the place you will desire to propose others against doing a number of the flaws which you probably did once you have been youthful? in line with risk you may purely return to college to take some business enterprise instructions so as that start up your person business enterprise the place you will possibly be your person boss, you will desire to purchase some backyard mowers and and initiate up a backyard care business enterprise or different factors and initiate up a janitorial business enterprise. there are loads of jobs you will desire to CREATE for your self. you will desire to even attain back and help some others that are at the instant on your concern. You commited a theft! You paid your debt and society has forgiven you (or you does not have been released). Now it's time to do what you're able to do to make your life what you like it to be. you're able to do this. Please do no longer kill your self. Others are in keeping with you. Your question grew to become into o.k. written so it incredibly is apparent which you're no longer stupid. it would be your destiny which you're to help somebody else or lots of of somebody elses. you're able to do this!

I started college at 24 and graduated when I was 29. Many, many of my classmates were considerably older than me.

Of all the other times you have asked this same Q have you just not gotten the answer you want?
Get off the computer and do something with your life. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and things will start looking up. I promise.
Peace

I've had classmates that were twice your age if not more. I think as long as you have clean record since your felony you should be ok. Just go to college and finish, ok? Good Luck.
