My daughter wears a lot of black. She hangs everything to dry. She told me she found the dryer was fading the black clothes. Her clothes do not fade. Try using detergent such as Cheer for dark clothes too. If you do not use any, your clothes may start to smell like body odor. Also the more cotton content in the fabric, the more fading you will experience. Using Rit dye sometimes will leave uneven dark spots if the water isn`t hot enough, so you need to use the hottest water to prevent the spots from happening, and your t-shirts may shrink.

I would use a very small amount of laundry soap, Tide as long as there are no additives like bleach, fabric softener etc... I always use Tide Free. Wash shirts inside-out, cold water, I don't think I would extra rinse the clothes either, this may drain some color due to the extra dose of water running through your clothes. If you use clothes dye it may alter images imprinted on your shirts. Using a clothes dryer may fade your shirts, too. My sister will only line dry her jeans ( she also washes inside-out ) to prevent fading and shrinking. Good Luck.

If the Tide you are using has bleach in it it will fade your black shirts. If it has oxi clean or no bleach it will not fade them. Washing them with vinegar or salt will set the color the first time you wash them. Black dye will dye everything black..it is very easy to do. Use very hot water. Let them sit in the dye for a while...run the rinse cycle then run the rinse cycle again with vinegar OR salt in it to set the color. Imprints on the shirt will probably be dyed also.

I have found that if you turn colored t-shirts and those with printing on them, inside out, it will help prolong the colors. Also, when we purchase new clothing items, I add 1 cup of white vinegar to the wash along with my regular detergent. This helps prevent the colors from "running" and seems to keep my garments looking new much longer than those I didn't use this method with. I have tried the specialty detergents such as Woolite for dark clothes, but could not tell a difference and actually felt irritated at buying 2 separate detergents.

Switch to Cheer or Woolite Dark for that. Make sure you use dryer sheets, like two or maybe three, in the dryer. And no, washing clothes with no detergent isn't better because the shirts won't get clean. If you must use Tide, use a very small amount.

If you use cold water and a gentle cycle, it could be the detergent.I always use 1/2 that they say.Turn your tees inside out before washing. Then again if you only rinse your tees they will not be clean.Call the number on the back of your Tide box and tell the customer service rep. They can tell you exactly what to do.I presonally could never use Tide---I'm too sensitive.I only use Era Plus..The Best.Cut the amount way back and see what happens.

It says on the packing containers/bottles what it truly is and what it truly is used for. Tide could be positive or perhaps All.the toughest section is the washing device, set on usual load and finished water, not a million/2 load. heat or chilly water is positive. then put in, nicely greater efficient too little than too lots detergent, like relatively decrease than say, a million/2 a sixteen oz..soda can. Like as much as you may grab on your hand if it truly is powder, relatively decrease than a capful if it truly is liquid. do not fill too intense with outfits, like greater suitable than halfway up the device yet to not the proper. Dry for approximately 40 5 minutes yet examine on it. some human beings separate lighting fixtures furniture and darks, meaning do one wash of sunshine colored clothing on heat or warm water, and darkish hues with chilly water. in my opinion, I throw all of it in jointly. yet once you have bright colored outfits, put in in the sink and run water over it to make certain if the ink runs, if it does, wash it on my own in the sink via hand, or you will injury your different stuff, particularly whites and lightweight hues. stable success.
