With the exception of maybe the "cutting" question, I think most of these questions are standard in the adolescent brain. The difference with today's youth, is that they are asking the questions out loud, and actually expecting someone to give them the answer. And #6 sums it up in a nutshell. I have teens, and they are great, so I can't categorize all, but it seems this is truly the generation of entitlement. Too much time on their hands, to much technology IN their hands, and no reason for motivation.(sitting on your butt, barely moving your thumbs, starring at the TV-but it can't be done without cheats?!?!) Maybe that's why they cut themselves??

This is interesting. I think youths ask this question because they are at a stage in life where they are trying to figure out themselves. Most of them are not matured and need help figuring things out on their own. Some just got their priorities all mixed up and need help straightening them out. Some just need attention so they go to watever extent to get it. Most are insecure and need love, support and education. Finally some are just plain silly in th essence that they knw what is right from wat is wrong but they do they wrong things just fro the fun of it.

I love Yahoo answers, but I get so tired of the same questions about being pregnant , and making someone notice you, or wanting to hurt themselfes. As with anything in life what you do you will pay for. It is not our place to judge other people, if we do whats right by everyone then everyone will come out ahead.

I think you took the thoughts right out of my head as to the most common, silliest and irritating questions.
Then comes the most irritating answer from some, " I dunno."

Which, I guess could be the answer to all the questions above.
Go figure...why answer if you "dunno"

7. Am I pregnant?
I can't believe how many times I've seen this question.
Then I saw the question, "Are you pregnant "?
That was a first.
No.

Does it really matter what question teenagers ask if you dont wanna answer them then just ingnore the questions. These questions arent stupid to the teens if they'd like to ask these kinds of questions they can.

I think that it's obvious that you don't remember what you were like when you were a teen.
Give them a break. And really if these questions are that annoying to you - stop trolling the teen section.
