I have brown eyes too. I use a light brown shadow on my lids and a goldish shimmery color under my brows. I also use espresso (dark brown) liner instead of black because it looks so much better. I don't know why girls use black eye liner... it's so harsh.

I have large brown eyes too. And to make them bigger- I use Black Kohl liners. You can use the Indian ones which are actually the best. You have to line you entire eye, which means the upperlid as well as around the lower lid. But be moderate, you don't want to look like you are possessed.(LOL)

As for shadows, it really depends on day or night makeup. But like i warned earlier- do not use black shadow to fill your entire eye. Try using grey to achieve the smokey effect up to the socket.
A word of warning though. try it out a few times before you decide to go out . All the best.

I have eyes like you!!

well, what i use and (i get compliments on it all the time!!)

first, buy a turqouise coloured eyeLINER and matching eye SHADOW!!

now but the turqouise on the bottom and and the eyeshadow on the top! this will make them really pop!! then add 2 coats of mascara!!

colours that will look great on brown eyes are: gold, turqouise, purples and just try out and experiment with diffrent colours and you will find what you are looking for!!

also for a subtle effect go for white eyeliner and but it in the Inner corners of your eyes!! this will make the appear larger!!

hope i helped!!

Try a green on top...and black on the bottom.

Make sure to smudge the color so it doesn't appear to be just a straight line of eyeliner...and remember.....less is more when it comes to the eyes.....

I was taught to look at the eyelid with no makeup on it. Examine it closely, and look for the natural colorations within the skin pigmentation as everyone's coloring is totally different. After you have determined what colors you see there......i.e.....violets, greens...then use that color. Good luck!

Almay makes eyeshadow and eyeliner specifically for your eye color and they work pretty good. I would go to the store and check out the stuff they have even if you don't like Almay products they would give you color suggestions.

white eyeliner.. on the bottom and top rims! also, always put on your eyeshadow first, cuz if you dont the powder will get on the mascara and make them look duller.for brown eyes buy like a quad or triple color eye shadow of green or gold and browns, and apply the lightest color on your brow, the medium coor on your actual eyelid and the darkest in your crease. hope this helped!

I think thin black eyeliner right on the lashline with some bronze or lavander eyeshadow (depending on the look you are going for) and don't forget to curl and put mascara on your lashies!
