Everyone has someone who talks behind his back and it shouldn't bother the person. Sometimes it's the price of being popular. Unless this information is something that your friend *really* needs to know (in order to do her job, for instance), then no good can come from your telling her something hurtful or embarrassing.

I would be careful here, you could loose both friends, you should stay mutual. don't be the blabber mouth...keep your opinions to yourself, the particular person that is talking bad will probably dissolve the friendship at one point or another. Then you won't look like the bad guy. After all the particular person probably is talking about you behind your back. if it bothers you that much then you should have a little talk with the particular friend, tell her that you do not appreciate her talking bad about your friend, and you really do not want to hear it anymore. if she has a problem with your friend then she should discuss it with her by herself.
Good Luck to you.

It is good that you are looking out for your friend. The person that is talking about her behind her back.... do you know this person? If so, talk to them and find out why does he/she think that your friend is mean. Your goal is to not create a lot of he said/she said drama. Get to the bottom of it. Tell your friend that a particular person thinks that she is mean and have the person saying it behind her back tell your friend in her face. It is much better telling the person in their face than to say something behind one's back. I hope this helps. Good luck.

That isn't a complicated question, just tell her! People always talk bad about each other and I think that the person talking behind her back is simply a coward. If you are a true friend you will tell her.

well..i personally think theres no need for you to tell her coz it dosent matter what other people think about you! you live life in ur own terms..not on others! but since u said its a kind of boss..employee relationship ,it could effect her carrer or whatever...then i think you should tell her.

I think you should stay out of it. The person who tells always ends up being the bad one.

If she is the kind of person who will respect you by not telling the person that said it, that you told her, then YES, tell her. Or you are no kind of friend at all!

a real friend would stand up for you when you're not there to do so.
Instead of running to go tell your buddy what someone is saying about her you should stand up for her....b/c thats how a lot of he say/she say crap gets started.

Nah, it's not your place. I would just stay out of it. Ever heard of "shooting the messenger?"
