I believe you mean curled back.
To do this you curl the hair behind your bangs toward the back of your head, then you tease it a bit with the comb. To tease means to hold the hair up and gently pull the comb DOWN thru your hair with light pressure repeatedly. Keeping in mind that it should still curl back. Then spray.
Your bangs you can curl back or front depending on how much forehead you wish to show.
