I am from Texas also, and I remembered when she died. The Mexican-American community around here (Dallas) was quite upset about it, espeically when one of the local radio stations that carried Howard Stern's tacky remarks about her death. Although I am not a fan of Tejano music, I can appreciate Selena for being a very talented and beautiful young lady and her untimely death was a tragedy.

It was sad....but, in a way she continues to live. Her music is still played and people still listen to it. That is something that can never be taken away from this world, even if she's no longer here.

It was truely tragic and very sad. She was very talented, and not all people that enjoyed her music were Mexican.

well it was very sad but she could ve avoid it as i was told shestarted to fight with her and datz how she got shot she shouldve fired her when she had the chance

She didn't deserve to die the way she did........I can't really focus on her death because that was tragic, however i still can enjoy her music from time to time.

i dont ,i think its time to let it rest in peace... i wish everyone was as devoted to God and Jesus as much as they are giving so much time to her death. people are doing wut is called setting up idols before putting God and jesus in there hearts , I have an ex that told me that my son of then 2yrs wanted to do nothing but watch her video's ,gimmie a freaking break a 2yr old doesnt know any better let alone know who the hell she was ... on my opinion it been to much over dramatization from the fans ... let it go ,pick up your bible and follow God and jesus as much as you want to follow this idol
