If you could slip it in somewhere with community service type stuff, leadership skills,or awards received it probably would be relevant. I would be really careful though, and research the particular fraternity at the local college or university for the city where the job is located. If it's got a bad reputation locally, then I would omit the name. That way if they ask in an interview, you can tell them, and let them know that your frat was unlike the one with the bad rep.

I wouldn't hire based on that crap. It would probably make a difference if the person evaluating the resume was a former member of the fraternity or sorority.

Not if the employer has any brains. You membership in sorority of fraternity does not tell much about how qualified you really are for the job.

In my managerial experience, NO! I am going to hire an experience and personality. Not if you were in a frat. or sorority( unless it was mine)!
