Common man it basic trigonometry

What you do is you need to find the angle corresponding to get M and N.

So its 180-157 = 23 degress which = P

Then to find side M you use the Sin of P
Sin(23) x 6(which it the hypotenuse) = 2.344

Then to find side N you use the Cos of P
Cos(23) x 6(which it the hypotenuse) = 5.52

Hi. P = 23, so use sin 23 for N/6 and tan 23 for 6/m. Hope this helps.

You use the sine and cosine ratios
measure of the angle opposite side n = 23
so sine 23 = opposite / 6
and cosine 23 = adjacent / 6
so N=2.34
and M=5.52

Angle P = angle z = 180° - 157° = 23° (corresponding angles)

Use trig on the upper triangle to find the answers.

angle P is 23 degrees
N= sin(23)6=2.43
M= cos(23)6=5.52
