I was talking with someone and this person said that this song was "coded" and that there was more to the meaning of the song then what meets the eye. He wouldnt say what this more was... can someone "decode" this song for me??

I basicly get the person in the song is taking life by the horns and living it up to it fullest because life is short...and good if you want to go along with me and if you dont want to then get out of my way....thats how I have always known the song to mean for me
and call me crazy but I dont see anything mentioning oregon in the song...unless I dont see it...please correct me... :)

Life is a long journey and we are all merely travelers. Others have traveled before us and others will surely travel afterward. The travelers will make their journey and change but the highway will remain constant. Pretty heavy stuff.
