Metallica is already being played on classic rock stations. Guns is almost 20. I would think that length of time qualifies them.
New Guns album (if not postponed again) is due out March 6th.

Even though they gained popularity in 1988.....which was almost 20 years ago, I don't think they can be considered classic rock.......at least not to me.....I think 60's and 70's when I hear the term "classic rock"

The classic rock station where I live seems to think they are...they play a few of their songs...and it makes me feel VERY old. lol
