movie acting?

I don't know of any movie studios that are actively casting in the Chicago area. However, I am sure that there are plenty of independant film outfits that you could get a start with.

One good place to start looking is the Screen Actors Guild:

Another good place to look would be:

Probably the best places to get experience on your resume is a local theater group. Check the phone book. Many hold tryouts throuhgout the year. They won't pay much, but honestly, nobody will until you have a solid resume and at least a little bit of name recognition.

Lala if you were in India would have helped, but why don't you start with some serious theater, cos most of the great actors we know like Kevin Spacy, Kim Bassenger etc. are all from theater and have made their mark at Broad Way.

i am from chicago too, um if been i plays, i play instruments, and you should be in more plays more experience is better, um it's best if you get an agent, to drama club, acting lessons
