There is a great deal of inventory that has to be spent. This is difficult to do when the home builders are still building and at reduced cost. The resale market for existing homes will likely remain very cool for a long time.

Well i work for a home builder and we are VERY slow right now! But they say the market will be slow until about 2008 and it will pick up again. But as for 2007, nothing will be happening. The say its because they make it difficult for the first time home buyers, they are the market. So when these first time home buyers fell more comfortable buying a new home the market will pick up again.
