I am a grades 3-5 gifted and talented teacher and I really enjoy writing lesson plans. Since they are for a gifted program, they are very interactive and hands-on. I think (and I've been told) they are pretty good. Are these marketable to any company??? I have a bunch and I figured it might be worth selling them?

Give it a try. Contact educational publishing companies. Check out your school's catalogs to get contact information.

Good luck!

To a company..... YES, you'd be better off contracting with one and writing a textbook or some Book for Teachers and parents. G&T is one area I have yet to work in, I'd go to Barnes and Noble and pick it up, as long as it as good anecdotes, procedures and pieces I can use in my classroom and at home with the kids. Check Prentice Hall, McGraw-Hill, Glencoe and the other players.

Good Luck!

Be careful about this. Anything that you do on your school's time or with your school's resources are the property of your school district and cannot be sold. Make sure you are not violating any district policy before you market your lesson plans.
