What should I name my character for my story. I would like something creative, but I can't think of anything!
My character is a female that had lossed a loved one at a young age. She blames herself and her life spirals into depression. Even though your character was once strong, loquacious, determined, and highly perseverant, she has lost all hope in herself and loses faith in life. She begins to rebuild herself though and begins to slowly forgive , but for every step she takes, it's 3 steps back in her heart,

I like your character's description... I thought of something Latin-ish, but it Didn't seem to fit. I would try something like Junie or Iria (or Irika depending on which you like better) I hope that helps... you can always google a baby names book, so you can find name for the era your character is in, or just over all suggestions, thats what I do when I write stories.

How about the name "Laurel"? It is a strong name and one that hasn't been heavily used in stories.
When she finally overcomes all the obstacles you have written for her, she can "rest on her laurels"!
