I look and feel pregnant, belly's gotten bigger but it's hard and tender when pressure is applies. Pressure includes the waisband of my sweatpants.
I'm having the period from hell. I've never, NEVER had cramps, and as I'm typing this there's a stabbing sensation going on in the general area of where i *think* my left ovarie would be *no i don't think it has to do with that, but it's just an idea of where it is*
I can't sleep. I go to sleep and wakeup within two hours, and then I can't force myself back to sleep for at least another four.
My depression's taken a swan dive. I don't know if that's relavant, though.
I've got a cold, and that sucks. Prolly unrelated, but the more you have to work with the more you can tell me what it might be.
My appatite is funky.
"weird" headaches, which means something other than the migrains i grew up with.
I've been through the websites, and they don't help. I'm 17, avg. build, if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Dude, I totally didn't think to meantion that I haven't had sex since june, I'm on depo and have had two or three tests *for the depo* since then. Sorry 'bout that.
But, not only is the doctor at least 12 hours from now, but I had killer "athlete's foot" for months and a piece of glass inbedded in the same foot for longer and only went to the doc like a week ago for that. In other words, getting my mom to take me in for a checkup is worse than pulling teeth.

Okay obviously she knows that we're not doctors. I doubt very many people on Yahoo Answers is actually looking for a person in a white coat and a badge to help them.
She's asking because of her symptoms to see if someone knows about what the problem is or has had similar symptoms in the past. The people that answered "See a doctor" like morons need to learn why Yahoo Answers is here. People aren't actually seeking medical attention via yahoo answers. They are seeking ANSWERS. You jerks are just trying to earn points. If you don't know the answer stop being obnoxious and don't answer the question
Your answer is not relevant and does not directly answer the questio. Above all it is uncalled for and obnoxious as I am sure this young lady knows to see a doctor but would like to be reassured by some friendly answerers!
Here is my answer to your question.
I would grab a home pregnancy t est if you've been sexually active within the last 3-5 months. The fact that you have the weird apetite, bumpy belly, and cramps indicates to me that you may be pregnant and your uterus might be trying to stretch.
I naturally don't assume ectopic pregnancy because you wouldn't see a bump as the ectopic pregnancy would've bursted your tubes or if it implanted in the ovaries or cervics that area would have internal damage and your life would be at risk
If you are not sexually active I would think that a uterine tumor has grown and you'll want to check with a doctor on that as it may also be a cyst attached to a tumor if your belly is getting big. The stabbing sharp pains you're feeling could be from this.
If you are not sexually active but plan to be and you're on some sort of birth control this could be an adverse affect from the birth control. I have had similar symptoms including depression, nausea, and sharp lower abdominal pains while on birth control such as the pill and the shot. Look into it with your OBGYN and good luck.
PS I am not calling the people who helpfully suggested a doctor morons.
I am only insinuating that the people with "one sentence answers" are not helping.
Merely saying "See a doctor" or "We're not doctors see a doctor" is not helpful.

If there is ANY chance you could be pregnant, see a doctor right now because it could be an ectopic pregnancy, or it could be a cyst or something else that could be getting infected. Don't want to scare you, but you need to take some action!
http://www.kidshealth.org/parent/pregnancy_newborn/pregnancy/ectopic.html
"Ectopic pregnancy can be difficult to diagnose because symptoms often mirror those of a normal early pregnancy. These can include missed periods, breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, or frequent urination.
Pain is usually the first red flag. You might feel pain in your pelvis, abdomen, or, in extreme cases, even your shoulder or neck (if blood from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy builds up and irritates certain nerves). Most women describe the pain as sharp and stabbing. It may concentrate on one side of the pelvis, and it may come and go or vary in intensity."

Well IF you are pregnant and bleeding with cramps you've never had before, you could be pregnant and it may be the beginning stages of a miscarriage. - Are you on the pill, patch or anything to prevent pregnancy? Sometimes if your body doesn't agree with certain contreceptives it can cause cramps and cause your stomach to bloat. First thing you to do is to get a pregnancy test a.s.a.p. to find out for sure. - If all else fails, go and see a doctor. It may not be anything serious other than your body changing. It happens...

Sweety, I think you need to see a doc, I know it is no fun but I think this sounds like you may need to...
You did not say if you had a fever or not...that woould have been helpful...
Speaking for myself, I try to help, but I think some things just really need a doctors attention and I think this is one of thos things,,,
Alot of things can be blamed on periods, but I don't think this is one of those things either, It does not sound like it has anything to do w/sex either, in case that has stopped you from telling your mom or a trusted adult...
I just really want you to go to doc....please do that, I am sure that it is something like appendix, a kidney stone, a cyst, whatever, I don't think it's gonna kill you, but you need to see doc. Don't be afraid, that is what they are there for, good luck. Hope yo feel better real soon..

You need to see a doc. Is there a possibility of pregnancy? You could be having a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. If there is no chance of that (abstinence) then you should see a doc - it could be endometreosis or a slew of other ailments.

I think you need to go to a doctor RIGHT NOW if you even THINK you are pregnant. If you are pregnant this sounds a lot like tearing of the uterus and you will DIE if not taken care of IMMEDIATELY.
